South Caldwell makes the trip up to Boone tonight with Watauga sitting 1 game behind first place in the conference.Loud music, great weather, awesome atmosphere, a perfect night for baseball. I wouldn't want to miss this game. 7pm at Watauga field.

WHS just won in the Bottom of the 9th on a wild pitch 11-10. More coming.

WHS vs South Caldwell Box Score and Plays attached.

Too many great plays made by both teams to recall them all. The difference was when WHS was trailing 10-8 bottom of the ninth, Tyler Bumgarner for South Caldwell allowed WHS to load to bases with no one out. He then struck the next 2 batters out and had the 3rd down to his last strike. Josh Roberts answered with a 2 out 2 run single. Then while pitching to Cal Hardee, Baker Stanley scored on a wild pitch for the winning run.
