South Meck fans

I don't know what was wrong with our fans yesterday no emotion what so ever. Congrats on a great win South Meck and good luck.

 

We knew you and Hapi had it covered Original. Those East boys needed our hep. When Braves called me up cryin' cuz he'd been left behind by the two Susans, I took pity on the boy and took him with me. I finally got him settled down with a good plate of Bubba's BBQ before the game.

We'll be there Friday night, though, so mix up a batch of swamp juice and save me a seat in the Dome. Warning for East -- I hate to tell you what usually happens when I'm at a South Meck game -- runs -- buckets full -- ten run innings, tape measure home runs -- I sit down for a baseball game and a Sabres intramural track meet breaks out. Those South boys run to that plate like the two Susans are cookin up some pot luck. Opponent fans like me start pleadin' with Coach Bags for mercy (well, kinda). If you East fans want to offer me something nice to stay away, I'll consider all offers.

By the way, have you guys been pourin' that swamp juice on those bats and doin' those demonic chants again? There oughta be a law against that kinda thing.

 

Hapi is hapi that he gets one more turn in the Bag-box (cause it means the Sabres get another run at Greeson's boys!!!) and didn't end his unstoried broadcasting career in a "forced" Bermuda exile. Now stand and face the fag, I mean flag.

Just hope Chip "the cook" Smith works a double shift before showing up and gets some bacon grease on his hands - he's gloved EVERYTHING South hit at him this year - even found Jimmy Hoffa in his webbing after the last game. Geeezzz!!!

BTW - I sensed this one coming last week; Atler is tuff as a marble sandwich.
Hoping 4th time is a charm.

Not sure what that means but...it should be a BIG and honorable US flag that the South Meck & East Meck fans will be facing on Friday night @ South Meck's Home field!

 

Whoa -I mean no, and I mean no disrespect to the flag or my country. Let me reply with an explanation as not everyone (but a lot have) has head of my little "slip.' In my very first opportunity to announce a S meck game, being nervous and , as usual, not knowing what to do next and while trying to
a. turn the mike on
b. turn the music off
c. start the tape and
d. tell everyone to stand and remove their hats
I inadvertantly said in my hurried state for everyone to stand and face the "fag" .Total slip. Would never do that on purpose. But I said it.
Obviously EVERYONE looked at me and began laughing. Embarrassed I asked 'Why are you all looking at me??? over the PA system. It was truly a Kodak moment. Thank goodness for grace!!!! Now I say to stand, remove your hats, and honor America with our National Anthem
Sorry if you thought I was demeaning the flag. Not even I could have dreamed that one up.
For the same reason I will not announce that a free Blow Pop will be given to anyone returning a foul ball.

 

No...Post337fan was not implying that you were disrespecting the flag. This poster knows you too well to believe that. P337f just did not know the story behind your statement, but he certainly knows that a HUGE flag will be at that game...and Hapi, it's "candy", not blowpops
