South Meck wins 4A state championship

    Lost the 1st game 3-2. Scored 2 in the bottom of the 7th to win game 2 2-1, then won the series deciding game 3 7-4.

    Earl Oliver series MVP.

    Excellent season, incredible heart and effort for Coach Tuscan. Storybook ending. Enjoy South Meck. You made the SW4A and the local baseball community very proud.

    My congrats to South Meck as well. They tore up the CPC enroute to the title. One of the most athletic teams I have seen in a while and very disciplined at the plate. Would not swing at pitches outside the zone and feasted on hitters counts.

    Just wanted to congratulate South Meck and Coach Tuscan. shows that good things happen to good people. Great Team, Even better coach..... a class act all the way around

    I too would like to send out congrats to the kids at South! Two squeeze bunts in the bottom of the seventh in game two? Sounds like something a local team would do 25 years ago to win a state championship! Well played guys...well played!
