    I think South deserves some praise. They may be 1-4, but they are the toughest 1-4 team in the state. They havent lost a game by more than 7 points, and have been playing tough competition. With the exception of Harding, all of their losses have come to teams capable of going deep in the playoffs.

    Agree 100%...the record doesn't show it but this is a different team from past South Meck teams. They appear to have a game plan and are committed to making it work.

    Even with some "key injuries" they gave a very good Providence team a run for their money last night. My hat is off to the coaching staff, they are doing a great job of motivating the players and getting them ready to play each week.

    South Meck will upset someone before the season is over....IMO

    I agree, it is the first time, going into most games, that SM had the ability to win. I'm proud of the Sabres and I believe they will win a few more than a couple.

    I know that this was meant to be tongue in cheek, but I will tell you this,...........the defense is what is keeping this team in the ball games, and we all know who is responsible for that!

    Hopefully that will pass over to the baseball team!!!!!:cool:
