This thread was intertaining. Good points made by everybody. Finally saw the video today about the brawl, & when the catcher let that ball fly, it was all over for both teams. I can see where everybody's coming from.

 

Hey I have been absent from the scene for a while and have just read a multitude of comments about the incident that Cherryville was involved in on the field. I had left the tournament the day before with an illness and was not present. I have seen the fight on the internet and have spoke first hand with members of the media that were present. I hate it happened to the teams and they were DQ but the officials probally had no other options. Now I looked at it as some have stated WHAT would have you done if the person being attacked was your friend or brother. I get involved and stop it any way I can. Now I know that you TALK it out and you WORK through these issues but when these actions are not offered to you do you sit and watch your friend get pummeled by two people.... Well

 

I'm thinkin' you just run in, touch the plate and don't say anything to the catcher to provoke him to throw a ball at you.
