Southeast Regionals and World Series

Just wanted to post a big THANK YOU to the organizers of the Southeast Regionals and to the World Series Hosts. The Shelby organizers have done a wonderful job. This past weekend when I was working in the concession stand, there were so many people who commented on how nice the facility was and how great the people were. I think that it shows what a great community we have. I know this weekend will go as well as the last one. Please remember to let the organizers and workers know if you think they did a good job. Until you've worked it, you don't know how hectic it is. But these people have been involved so much more than just serving concessions. Sometimes those in the background are really the life source.

 

how true this is...

The volunteers at any tournament or game are the ones that are there early and the ones staying late! And there are FAR too many people that will turn the other cheek when asked to help out nowadays.

Volunteering is a thankless job and cudos to those those take the short time it takes to say thank you!!

Next time you walk into a game, make sure you take the time to to acknowledge the people that make it happen.
