    Pretty cool deal everybody getting in free today thanks to Duke Power.

    I heard today some rumblings that Shelby is putting together a proposal to become the permanent location of the Legion World Series.

    I'm really not trying to rain on Shelby's success, but it's really a load of crap that just because they're hosting the southeast regional that they get a pass to automatically make the southeast regional. It makes no sense because while the other teams play EVERYDAY and EARN their way there, Shelby gets to sit back and rest their whole team, rest their arms and get to come into the tournament fresh. Someone needs to evaluate the rules because Shelby in no way is the best team in he southeast...

    Btw agreed NCBaseballfan14,,, Randolph County finishing 3rd in SE Region and hanging a NC State Championship Banner to their season with an overall record of 43-14,,, not bad at all.

    9th inning, Shelby/Sumter still tied 3-3...

    Did they say the halfnhalf winner was taking home over $1000 ??? :drool5:

    ...leadoff man gets on by error, sacrificed to 2nd base,,,

    ...winning run on 2B, 1 out...

    ...bunt again, ball thrown away at 1B, winning run scores from 2B. Sumter wins 4-3.

    SUMTER,SC is SE REGIONAL CHAMPIONS
