    Irmo will play Conway at 9:30am Sunday to decide the SC state championship.

    Irmo defeated Conway 9-8 today to advance to the Regionals. They are scheduled to open up with Georgia on Thursday at 5:00. The Regionals are being hosted in Sumter, SC.

    Thanks Boxman. So brackets on page 1 are now complete. I'd say everyone going to South Carolina this week to watch Rowan, just have fun and don't eat the BBQ... (I shouldn't have said that):headbang:

    Bayamon, Puerto Rico beats Shelbyville, Tenn in Game 1 by a score of 4-3.

    Complete brackets updated on page 1.

    SHELBYVILLE TENN. 3

    Very good game

    Shelbyville trailing 3-1 going into the top of the 9th gets a 2 out double to tie the score at 3-3

    Bayamon scores one in the bottom of the ninth without the benefit of a hit.
    the first 2 batters walked and after 1 out they pull off a double steal putting runners on 2nd and 3rd...then after a wild pitch scores the winning run.

    Bayamon wins 4-3

    Bayamon had 4 runs on 2 hits with 3 errors
    Shelbyville had 3 runs with 4 hits and 2 errors


    Bayamon plays at 5 PM Friday against the winner of Irmo and Conyers
    Shelbyville plays at 10 AM Friday against the loser of Irmo and Conyers
