    Southern Explosion 18U will be holding try-outs (all positions)
    for the 2005 fall roster on Saturday, Aug 6, from
    9am-11am, at Kings Mountain High School.

    Southern Explosion has also scheduled an additional try-out on Saturday, Aug 13, from 9am-11am at Kings Mtn High School.

    Southern Explosion will be holding tryouts Saturday, Aug 13, at Kings Mtn High School from 9-11am.

    Kings Mtn High School
    500 Phifer Rd
    Kings Mtn, NC 28086

    From Asheville:
    Take I-26 East to Exit 67 (Columbus/Rutherfordton)-go 35 miles.
    Merge onto US-74 E-go 38 miles
    Merge onto W DIXON BLVD-go 9 miles.
    W DIXON BLVD becomes US-74 E / J OLLIE HARRIS HWY-go 0.8 miles.
    Take the US-74-BR exit toward MOSS LAKE
    At top of ramp, turn right onto 74 business

    At 2nd stoplight, turn right onto Kings Mountain Boulevard

    Take first left, before the Kings Mountain Intermediate School

    Take the first left KMHS softball field is 2nd field on the left.




    From Charlotte:
    Take I-85 S toward GASTONIA.
    Merge onto US-74 W via EXIT 10B toward KINGS MOUNTAIN / SHELBY
    Take first exit off 74 that bares to the right called 74 Business, Kings Mountain.

    Turn left at 9th stoplight onto Phifer Road. (once you pass Kings Mountain Hospital on the right, you are close)

    Approximately 1 mile Kings Mountain High School will be on the right. Continue past Kings Mountain High School. Approximately ½ mile Kings Mountain Middle School will be on the right. Turn right immediately past Kings Mountain Middle School and the softball field will be the first field seen on that road.

    if any other WNC girls who think they are players......call, email or just show up Saturday @ Kings Mtn High School at the set time!
