    Northwest 11 East Rowan 7

    Northwest knocks off previously unbeaten East Rowan at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium. Rob Bain pitched another gem, holding ER to 3 runs scattered throughout 6 innings. ER did add 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th.

    Northwest entered the 7th inning down 1-3 but score 4 runs to win it 5-3 at Sun Valley. The Trojans travel to East Rowan for the rematch tomorrow at 7pm. Hopefully the weather geeks are wrong and the storms will hold off.

    Way to go Cox Mill, these guys play hard and have winning attitudes! As for East Rowan, losing 2 to NWC would send'em into panic overdrive! Go Trojans!

    Thats 2 big nonconference wins for NWC! SPC is shaping up to be a dog fight to the end and the tournament should be really exciting.

    No, next game @ Hickory Ridge 04/13/10 and I'm really concerned about the layoff. I would go John J on Tues., but who knows???

    Northwest 8 Central Cabarrus 7

    NW jumps out to a 5-0 lead only to have Central battle back and tie the score in the 7th at 6-6. Central plates one in top of the 8th but then allows NW to load the bases (2 intentional walks), scoring two runs to win in bottom of 8th. NW travels to Mallard Creek on Thursday for a non-conference match up.
