    Northwest 8 Mallard Creek 4

    Northwest picks up a non-conference win beating Mallard Creek 8-4. Will Miller and Tanner Bigham led off with back to back homers. Hats off to NW pitcher Weston Smith (2012) for pitching complete game and getting his first varsity win.

    NW bangs out a win against the Vikings. Winning pitcher Rob Bain had another good outing.

    The score tells it all, Hopewell took NW to the woodshed in this one. I hope NW can regroup quickly as they travel to Kannapolis tomorrow to take on the Wonders in a key SPC match up for the Trojans.

    Can someone confirm gametimes for tonight. Some leagues start their games at 7:00, some at 6:30, and some at 6:00. Walked in over at Kannapolis the other night and I was thinking I was 30 minutes early, but it was bottom of 1st inning already.

    Thanks, sorry I just can't keep up...

    According to the school website, that is. Don't feel bad we've all been fooled at least once or twice this year. Rememember the good old days... when games started at 4:30 or 7:00?:huh2:

    NW took out their frustrations from last night on Kannapolis tonight beating the Wonders in 6 innings. Taylor West pitched his best game of the year by limiting the Wonders to only 2 hits (I think) and going the distance.
