As you plan for your fall exposure events we hope you have included the Fall Southern Star Showcase
in Savannah, GA on your list. Last year 98 teams from 10 states came. The word about the success of the Southern Star has grown and with it the interest from the college coaches as well. We are the one showcase that has 18 fields within 1 mile of each other and enough hotel rooms for 300 teams with 25 minutes. Moving from complex to complex is not a problem in Savannah, GA. So coaches don't mind coming here and moving around.

As most people know, we do not normally publicize which schools are planning to come, but some schools like Alabama, South Carolina, Auburn, Mississippi State, LSU, Georgia Tech, Georgia Southern, and Appalachian State have given us the permission to do so. Obviously this is not the entire list, but it is a sampling of some of the top schools that are planning to be here and we hope you are too. For a complete list of prior schools that regularly attend, you can go to the web site.

With Paula Deen's "Lady and Sons" restaurant, Mrs. Wilkes Restaurant, world famous nighttime Ghost Tours, Historic Walks, infamous "River Street", Tybee Island Beach, and Hilton Head, SC all in close proximity, Savannah is a great place to come and play and visit.

And for your players, if they are looking to visit a college (or if they need to for an excuse to miss school on Friday) while they are in the area, we have NCAA Division 1 Georgia Southern and Savannah State, NCAA D2 Armstrong Atlantic State University, NAIA University of South Carolina Beaufort, SCAD and Coastal Georgia, and JUCO Middle Georgia College and East Georgia College all within driving distances. All schools would be more than welcome to accept players for tours of campus's and meetings with admissions officers.

Go to the web site to download an entry form. The priority deadline to enter is September 1, 2011. After that teams will be taken on an as space available basis only.
