Thanks statefan. You never though. At the end of last year we had 6-7 players in the starting line up who saw minimum innings the year before. At this time last year though, those guys were running stairs in the football stadium along with a run around campus. They wanted it bad. That may be what it takes for East this year, but you can never count out a team that has enough determination to accomlish something. You never know.

    Good post statefan.

....not by me:D...and that goes back to my point. It doesn't matter how much talent you have...with no leadership, you are rudderless

    My early "line:"

    T-1...Providence
    T-1...South Meck
    3......East Meck
    4......Myers Park
    5......Olympic
    6......Waddell
    7......Butler
    8......Garinger

    I think it'll be a "dogfight" for numbers 3-7.

I take one morning off from the board in order to get some work done and look what Braves does to me .......

Maybe we should say that they look good on paper .... but the new contagious form of rhematoid arthritis has hit the entire team!!! I'd be surprised if anyone on the team can do an sub 9.0 60 and the pitchers MAY break 65.......

Hey...I'm just repeating what MVaughn said. An uncanny, excellent observation on his part I may add. NM is loaded......at every position.

With Tom Porter, a 7 game winner, Sam Pierce , 90+ pitcher and Zack Rosenbaum, 90+ and add in the speed of Cavasinni and others...shoot...they might as well concede the conference championship to NM now.

Braves, I'm sure that Hopewell, Independence and Central Cabarrus are most pleased that you are willing to crown them from afar ..... I'm not in that much of a hurry. I think the race is going to be a dog fight till the end. I just hope North can finish better than 4th in the conference.

Hopewell, Independence and Central Cabarrus will have excellent teams this year....but I don't believe there is a team in the city, with the exception of Providence, that can compete with the overall talent of North Meck. As MVaughn says, " NM is loaded at every position "

Sorry...I was just agreeing with a NM poster

Yoy guys had two outstanding pitchers, it did not matter if you guys played providence or south you didnt lose much with you or wilson on the mound, past buchanan, who do they have. plus i dont think the leadership is there, greeson is a great coach but its hard to win with few seniors and 8 question marks.
