    LOL

Oh yea I know him, he hasn't been out of prison very long, I think he was in prison for imposing as a coach.....:10:......... in the 1st degree, 2nd degree illegal instruction with attempt to teach young girls how to lay down a bunt, also obstructing the umpires while on the field in attempt to literally steal second base....and finally got the finger :39:"Your Outa Here" in 2004....He was paroled in 2005, and now on a work release program working at Rocky River as a maintenance man dragging the fields after each game....:taz:

    Okie Dokie then...

Hmm...How did I get dragged into this discussion about Pitching? :huh2: I admit the prison thingy was rough, but I have had therapy, mainly shock therapy to a pretty sensitive area, but i am better now.:curtain: Still a bit shaken...

I will vote yes...I want speed and movement, from the same pitcher!!!

i personally want the movement....If all you have is speed and placement, can sit back and wait on it. movement keeps you guessing.

AbbeyFan and Windmiller, which do you prefer??

    Back... Back... Back...

    The answer is both.....but...

at the college level, fast and straight goes far into the night....

There are a bunch of pitchers in college that don't break 60 mph, but they get outs... An effective college pitcher will throw her fast ball only 10-15% of the time, if she can make you swing at the funny ones.... Her job is to get 21 outs... They don't have to be strikeouts...

Speed gets you started, but add movement in two planes with the speed, makes the pitcher much more effective.
