While it is great to hear about all of these young women's commitment to colleges, I actually have a question!

What are good speed times for the following?

    Right side box to first
    Left Side hit to first
    Left Side Slap to first
    Home to home

Or are these times not important?

The times can be very important, unless the player is a power hitter but still they cannot be extremely slow.

A right handed batter would be timed in the 20 yard dash, low 3's would be considered good; 3.0, 3.1, if below a 3 even better.

A lefty slapper would want to be timed out of the lefty box off the crossover contact foot for the optimal time.
    2.9's and 2.8's is a good HS/Travel time
low 2.7's and 2.6's is high level Collegiate athlete.
    2.5's is major D1.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks!

The responses have given some good comparisons and insight to my daughters speed which appears to be pretty good!!
