Two years travel ball and one year varsity letter. 94 birthday. Plays left/right outfield and first. Good swing of the bat. Looking to continue guest play 14U or a high school team, or play with a team full time. Will move up to 16U or stay with high school team in the Fall. Cape Fear Storm 16u(purple)

The Cape Fear Storm 16u(purple) is looking for a pitcher to fill the 3rd spot in a 3 pitcher rotation. Last year we worked with a 3 pitcher rotation and this worked well with each pitcher getting equal opportunities to pitch. We play mainly showcase events so we generally face strong competition so we need someone with experience and strong ability to fill this spot. Ability to play other positions would be a plus. Looking for a young lady with 1993 or 1994 birthdate, but would look at others as long as they can compete at 16u this year. If interested contact Marty Taylor at 919-499-7382.

 

The Charlotte Starz 12-U / Fall Tryouts

The Charlotte Starz 12-U will be holding tryouts for the fall 2009 season on Sunday, July 12th and July 19th, from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at our practice fields at James Martin Middle off of IBM Drive in the University area near Harris Blvd and I-85.

As a first-year 12-U team we have competed in 14 tournaments to date, compiling (4) 2nds, (4) 3rds, and a 4th place finish, often in the "A" bracket. We are looking for a couple of experienced players (1997 birth year) to join our core group of committed kids in bringing home championships beginning in August.

18u Players

Are you looking for a high caliber team that can give you exposure to college coaches in many of the larger regional and national tournaments? Team TFS 18U is seeking players that are 2010 or 2011 grads to join the team for the remainder of the summer season and for the fall. Coach Powell has both 18U and NCAA Division I collegiate level coaching experience. Team TFS is sponsored by Coach Michael Bastian, a former Olympic Softball Team coach and International Softball Federation clinician. Coach Bastian comes to North Carolina to work with Team TFS players throughout the year. Team TFS is part of The Fastpitch School and has teams in Texas, Ohio, California, and Canada. Practices facilities are located in both the Triad and in the Triangle to accommodate players from all areas of the state. All Team TFS alumni that have wanted to have gone on to play collegiate softball. 10u fastpitch tryouts

Carolina Xtreme will be having tryouts on Thursday June 25 in Boonville NC (Yadkin Co). We are looking for upcoming 3rd and 4th graders so that the girls can go through the age groups together. NC CHALLENGERS TRYOUTS ANNOUNCED

NC Challengers 2009 Tryouts



Raleigh, NC – The North Carolina Challengers have announced tryouts for their fall 2009 teams in the 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16U age groups for Saturday, August 8, 2009 at South Garner Park, Garner, NC. Times for tryouts are 8U, 14U, 16U from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 10U, 12U from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM. The 2009-2010 teams will be coached by the following individuals:

All players interested are encouraged to pre-register for tryouts by emailing their respective coach with the following contact information: player name, parent name, parent cell phone, email address, player birth year, and the age group for which you wish to try out. All players that pre-register by August 1st will be guaranteed a free tryout t-shirt, so please specify your shirt size when sending your contact information.

At present, our 18U team will not be having formal tryouts. However, if you are an 18U player interested in playing highly competitive showcase softball, please contact our 18U coach, Andy Stewart at [email protected] or (919) 302-9510.

The North Carolina Challengers, based out of Raleigh, NC, have been in existence since the 1990’s and strive to develop teams that can play at the highest of levels in North Carolina, the Southeast, and across the country. We are looking for committed families with team first attitudes towards developing their daughter’s skill set in the game of fastpitch softball. NC Challengers teams are focused on having fun, "teaching", fundamentals, team play, and being competitive with the top teams in North Carolina, the Southeast, and the country.
