    Gaffney Post 109 5 Mint Hill Post 4059 3

    Last years highly ranked Gaffney Post 109 traveled to Butler High to take on MH Post 4059 Wednesday night in the first game for both teams.
    MH took a 3-2 lead in the 5th on a 2 run homer to center by MH's firstbaseman Dalton Eisenbath. That held up until a throwing error in the 7th tied the game at 3-3. That error extended the inning and Gaffney made them pay with a two out, two run single to go up and eventually win 5-3. Post 4059 travels to play Concord Post 51 this evening.

    MH Post 4059 4 Concord Post 51 1

    Mint Hill Army Post 4059 gets their first win in a 4-1 victory over Concord Post 51. Dalton Eisenbath hit a first pitch 2 run homer in the first and added a 2 run homer in the third to pace Mint Hill at the plate. Troy Neil went 3-3 as well. I believe Matt Rumble picked up the win on the mound.
    MH is 1-1 and Concord is 0-4. Mint Hill plays their next two at home this weekend.

    Garner Post 232 off to a 5-0 start. 3 Game series against ahoskie 3-0 and currently in a 3 game series against Raleigh Post 1 at 2-0, play 3rd game tonight

    Dalton Eisenbath tossed 6 complete giving up 2 hits and 1 earned to get the win. MH had multiple hitters with 2 hits each. I did not catch the name of the Kings Mountian Post 155 pitcher who took the loss.
