standings in cape fear valley conf.

could someone please post the standinds for this conference

 

Used to be in that Conference but I believe that it's Harnett Central running that show.

South J. gave them a good match-up a few days ago and Union Pines beat an upstart Southern Lee TEAM.

I'm sure that Triton is having a say in the conference but don't know the exact standings.

The Lady Vikings of UP are winning games and they have average at best pitching however they are pretty solid in their defensive effort and hitting the ball well lately.

I coached 95% of all those girls and it's great to hear that they are doing so well!

I wouldn't count out Gray's Creek as their pitcher in J. Farmer is probably holding her own at times.

The bottom half of that conference is very weak but the top heavy 3 will keep making a name for the CFVC.

....I know that you're in the loop and certainly knowledgable about the game and Harnett Co. stuff, so....Can you help us out here at TBR in just whats going on? HC is tough, no doubt, and I understand they lost to Triton twice......where does that leave them in the conf. standings and possible playoff seed? Also, How is West Johnston? I know they are stacked with talent, but I've heard very little about this team lately. I figured that they were THE team in 4A. If anybody knows. East knows! Fill us in brother! Thanks, Fishman

Standings

TP16 is correct on CFVC standings. The only way for HC to win regular season is another team to unlock the back door by beating Triton for us.
There is NO doubt in my mind Candice Faircloth(So.) is one of the best pitchers in the state. I'm not saying that because I coached her way back in rec. ball and introduced her to TB.:notworthy She brings it all to the field and leaves it there every time she plays. OBTW She lead her TB team to PONY National 14U champion last year too.
HMMMM ranked 2nd in state 3A and 2nd in CFVC. Shhhh don't tell anybody.

 

West Johnson

Marlinfan1 asked about WJ. I've not seen them play but according to Views and Disturber they are 16-1, 9-0 conference. They have outscored opponents 114-8. Only game lost was to South Central 3-0. Good luck to any 4A team that gets the lucky draw against them.

CFVC

Triton won last night against Overhills 15-0.
Harnett Central won against Union Pines 21-6.
Triton is 11-1 conference, 17-4 overall and is in control.
H C is second at 9-2 conference, 14-4 overall.
I know, I know 4 losses and 2nd in the state. No we don't deserve to be there.
There is a jumble after that.
I think Southern Lee is third with 3 conference losses.
Western Harnett and South Johnson have to finish thier first matchup and play second tonight in what will set 4-5 spots.
Union Pines and Grays Creek look like they are fighting for 6th.
Overhills has a commanding lead for the 8 spot.
