    Ashbrook 10 Franklin 0

    Ashbrook shutout Franklin 10-0 in five innings. Clay Gibson was on fire from the mound and at the plate. Gibson gave up 1 hit, 0 runs and struck out 10 in the shortened ballgame. At the plate, Gibson hit a 2-run homer and followed that with a 3-run bomb. 5 total rbis.

    Sammy Asis, cf, started the scoring by hitting an absolute "moonshoot" on the second pitch of the game. Asis ended the game 2-4 with 3 rbis, including a 2-run single that ended the game with 10 runs.

    Next up is the matchup you've all been waiting for - #1 T.C. Roberson travels to Gastonia to take on #3 Ashbrook on Friday night at 7:00. Come early. The stadium will fill up fast!
