    Alex Cent vs New Bern maybe? (They'll be calling for Smitty over @ P if so!)

    Glenn vs. E Randolph

    East Ruthorford vs. East Duplin/Richlands

    Williamston vs Hayesville (beat em in 88 in the finals!!!!! :banana: )

    3A State Champs....

    I agree that the 2004 State 3A champion will be a mountain team. Furthermore, I also agree that Cameron and his TCR buddies have an excellent hitting team, but theres still one more excellent hitting .400 team left playing besides TCR,,,,,, and I hate that TCR lost Thrailkill too, but "THIS OTHER" excellent team still has their top pitching going strong led by a kid named "Adams" (refer to shutout of strong Ragsdale team last Friday). Yep guys, it won't surprise many folks in the Piedmont area if this state 3A championship trophy lands squarely on top of the big mountain called Mt.Ulla in western Rowan County.... :banana: :banana: :banana:

    The best part is, if these 2 teams both win this coming Tuesday, I understand they will meet next Friday and play a 2 out of 3 series under this year's new playoff schedule, to determine who goes to the state finals. Should be some awesome baseball next week.
