    1:00pm Sat. Aug.9

    Cherryville(42-7) vs. Randolph County(39-11)

Cherryville has one loss in tourney, while Randolph has yet to lose,,, so if Cherryville wins 1pm game, a 2nd game will be necessary immediately following first game.

AGREED, Randolph seems to be clicking on ALL cylinders at the right time of year.

However, one team you never count out at this stage of the year is Churaville.

I agree, I think it'll be very competitive but I've been around this Randolph County team all season. Just don't think Cherryville has enough to beat Randolph twice

Cherryville has enough to beat ANYBODY twice!!! Whether it happens or not today is yet to be seen.

Whoever wins the first game at 1:00 will win it all, because if Cherryville forces a 2nd game, Cville will then have enough momentum with their crowd to pull off the sweep.

1:00 game is essentially for all the marbles.

Cherryville threatens but doesn't score in the top of the 1st

Randolph County's middle infield bails them out of trouble with a double play.

Randolph County up 1-0 after 1 inning.

Cam Cockman HBP, stole 2nd, advanced to 3rd on a WP, and scored on an infield single by Hunter Ridge
