    What I heard from Rocky Mount press people

    Most likely NCST and Mudcats stadium but they are waiting to see officially who all the winners are so that no one can get any kind of close to home field edge and also NCST might be hosting at their field?

    yes most baseball sites have NCSU projected to host a regional.

    I think NCSU could be and UNC (USA baseball complex) most definately will be hosting NCAA regional series next weekend.

    I would think the Mudcats would host one. Burlington has before in the past as well. What about the old DBAP in Durham?

    Team USA facility in Cary

    Somebody said the Team USA facility in Cary would be the best choice - this is where UNC played this year while Boshamer is being rebuilt.

    I watched a couple of games there this year - GREAT facility.

    I SAY.....

    take these series to a seven game format just like the Bigs and play home and away accordingly why the heck not...? At least we ll really undoubtedly be able to determine the best team!:cheers2:

    Sites for 4A Championship

    A friend just called to say he had spoken with somebody in the NCHSAA and they said that if N.C. State is hosting a NCAA regional series next weekend the game will be at the Mudcats place in Zebulon. If N.C. State is not hosting the NCAA's, then they will play there.

    Hope he knows what he is talking about but he has been a very reliable source of info. in the past.

    Why not move it further west? At this rate it might as well be in Greenville if they play it in Zebulon.

    Just kidding Dawg! Doak would be good because thats pretty much in the middle of the state in Raleigh.

    Just tweaking folks a little bit, but Greensboro and Winston Salem have some nice facilities available. Lets come an hour closer to Charlotte and make it an even drive!
