    State Games :

How many College Coach's (Radar Guns) are estimated to be in attendance?

More interest in the Seniors (Thursday) or Underclassman event(Friday - Sunday.)?

The way I recall last year's games the interest was in the competition. The teams were pretty equal overall. I didn't feel a showcase atmosphere at all and that is a wonderful thing.

The teams were there to compete and the atmosphere was like a college playoff. They even had a professional announcer. It was great. I hope it remains that way. I doubt college coaches or radar guns ever crossed a player's mind during the tournament!! And that is SOOO refreshing!!!

    State Games at Greensboro

I'll be at the games this weekend taking photos for NCSCA's web site. I'm excited about the talent that will be at the tournament thursday thru sunday in Greensboro. Check out their web site http://www.ncfastpitch.org/index.cfm?id=69695&fuseaction=browse&pageid=1 for photos.

It will also great to meet some of the best softball coaches in the state and the weather should be almost perfect.

Do I sound stoked? I am!

Don't know but they have been all over the map this year. Paid $10 (plus $3 for parking) for the state playoffs at Walnut Creek, paid $6 in one TB tourny, and $5 in another...

    State Games Admission?

Price of admission for the State Games is $5.00 per day. Lots are provided for parking. Some pretty close, some not as close.

    !

been to a lot of events over the years and I have to say that the professionalism at the state games yesterday was perhaps the best i had ever seen. UNCG has a gorgeous facility... there were several coaches in attendance I think I counted 6.. perhaps there were more. There was even a Guru sighting late in the day!

Everyone one of should thank Pop Rivers for developing this whole thing from scratch.. incredible, incredible job!

Amen. Totally agree. Way to much emphasis by parents put on getting seen by colleges. Most of the girls just want to play and have fun
