    Re: WILD SPECULATION !!!!!

Pops -- Just in case you think you got by with that bag of sand you threw out there -- well you didn't. :naughty:

Those North Meck babes will be all grown up come playoff time, and this one will be a good one. With Tom Porter on the hill and all those speedsters on the bases, the Vikings will be able to compete with the Mustangs -- should be a good one.

P.S. Great thread -- thanks for taking the time to put it together.

    Update 5/6:

NW4A: ACHS's loss to WHS bring McDowell RIGHT BACK IN THE HUNT with a shot at #2 in the conference. Even though Watagua is mathmatically eliminated, locked into the #4 spot, they are serving as spoilers and this one aint over yet.

Central Cabarrus has clinched #1 spot in the Meca 8. #2 is still up in the air, but Hopewell is in the driver's seat.

Myers Park has clinched (virtually) the #1 spot in the SW4A.
East holds the #2 spot but may fall into a tie with Providence if they don't take care of business.

South Caldwell has (virtually) clinched the #1 spot in the NW4A

Wakeforest-Rolesville has vaulted over Wakefield and pushed them into a 2nd place tie with Millbrook in the east.

Southern Durham has vaulted over East Chapel Hill to move into the #3 spot in the 5 Counties conference down east.

Lots of late week movement going on guys........

    2A Projections

This is rough guys .... I'm fishing for a lot of this...
    Abbreviations:
    CC: Central Carolinas Conference
    MW: Midwest Conference
    NS: North State Conference
    MV: Mountain Valley Conference
    WH: Western Highlands Conference
    RR: Rocky River Conference

North Rowan (#1 CC) vs Bandys (#3 MW)
West Guilford (#1 NS) vs North Stanly (#2 RR)
Ledford (#2 CC) vs #2 North State
Mt Pleasant (#1 RR) vs West Stokes (#3 CC)
Chase (MW #1) vs North Henderson (#3 WH)
Forbush (MV #1) vs Owen (WH #2)
East Rutherford (MW #2) vs West Wilkes (MV #2)
West Henderson (#1 WH) vs #3 Mountain Valley

No one wants West Henderson in the first round ..... Flack/Covington and company make ER dangerous ..... both of the teams in the Rocky River should be dangerous ... Forbush/West Wilkes may be the sleepers..... IF West Henderson makes it past the first round the matchup with the winner of the East Rutherford/West Wilkes game should be a great one.

Spelling modified, just for you NS

    Hey Prepster

I took my wild shot at the west, but no one can handicap the east as well as you can ........ take a week off of that work and give me a hand on this. :D :D
