any thoughts for 2005, teams to watch, players to watch and are their any shout outs to all those summer teams playing or beginning to play?

Congratulations to all the teams participating in the state championship this year. I have really enjoyed this softball season. I’ve watched many of you play all season long as I traveled to many locations across North Carolina. The championship games on Sunday were some of the best I have seen all year. What a great performance by all you young ladies this year, and especially in the championship games. For those of you returning next year…… keep up the hard work. Those that are moving on to the next level, or to follow your dream, keep working hard and that dream will come true. Thanks so much ladies. I love all of you!

Most definetly the best year in softball I've seen in a while. The 3A championship was truly a classic. Extra innings and lots of drama with the Enka comeback to tie it up in the 6th. S. Alamance also did a great job in maintaining their composure and getting the job done when they needed to. Enka looks like a contender again next year. Great to see all the TBR folks in Raleigh. Congratulations to all the young ladies who did a great job all year.
Thanks ACT and WLOS for the outstanding coverage of the championships.

Whew-I think I have recovered. The 3A championship games were definitely the best I have ever seen. S Alamance and Enka were pretty evenly matched the whole way through. It's a shame one had to lose. Even their season ending records were as close as any 2 teams could get 30-3 and 30-2, just one game making the difference.
    :applause:
I am so proud of our team. They are awesome! They never gave up and kept coming back. They put their heart and souls into each game. We will be back next year!
I enjoyed talking to the S Alamance parents after the game. You are a great bunch of folks.
Good Luck to Brittany, Jennifer, Brandy and Jodi. We will miss you! :mushy:
