    Marvin Ridge advances wth a win today against a tough Glenn team. Justin Setzer gave up 2 in the 1st (including a leadoff 1st pitch HR) but settled in and didn't give up anymore throwing 6 strong innings. Marvin Ridge awaits the winner of Lake Norman/Asheboro tonight @ 7:00.

    Also caught Marvin Ridge game - Shane Basen 3 for 3; 2 RBIs and 2 RS for the Mavericks. Freshman Tyler Chadwick had a big pinch hit single driving in 2 in the fifth to break the game open.
