    Brady had a double for GH and that was about all of GH's offense

    some of these scores this off season and the rest of this playoff season.

    You may be good enough to beat me 9 out of 10 times. All I have to do is have that one time this time and I move on and you go home.

    Poplin and Hatley pitch well combining for 14k's. South left bases loaded twice but failed to capitalize. Moving on to third round.

    Sanderson vs Fuquay-Varina

    A good night to be a CAP 7 baseball fan, and even better if you are a Spartan fan.

    Sanderson Spartan P/C Max Gagnon (UNCP) threw CG, 8 K's, no W and no runs in Sanderson's 3-0 win over Tri-8 Fuquay-Varina. Allowed 4 hits (all singles) and not one runner got past first base. No multi-hit inning. Solid defense as well behind the pitcher.

    Sanderson batters -- Travis Trumps (2-2, run), Kyle Wigmore (High Point) 1-1, 2 W, run, Charles Wolfe (Wingate) 1-3, rbi, run.

    Now Sanderson (15-10) faces off against Broughton (16-9) Friday at Broughton. Broughton swept Sanderson in 2 games this year.
