    South Caldwell 1 - Butler 0

Cody Poarch had a masterful performance tonight really keeping the Butler kids guessing on the next pitch and finished with 13Ks while giving up 2 hits. South had 8 hits but could muster only 1 run after threatening several times with leadoff runners in scoring position. Butler was a very good team with a bend but don't break attitude getting out of trouble on numerous occassions. I was especially impressed with the left handed pitcher from Butler and their catcher who was not afraid to throw the ball around the infield and picking off 1 key runner.

South will next take on the winner between Providence and Ardrey Kell.

    Millbrook 2 Apex 1

No stats. Great game for fans. Millbrook went up 2 in the 4th; Apex got 1 in the 5th (or 6th). Apex ended game with runners on 2nd & 3rd in the 7th. Lefty for Millbrook showed lots of moxie on the mound and they have a really good defensive team. Congrats to both teams on a great game.
