    As of April 29, Davie County is 10-7 overall and 7-3 in conference.

    I think people need to watch out for Butler. I think this year is their year to go far in the state playoffs. Behind Ashton Ward and Emily Jeffries on the mound, those two will not be giving up a lot of runs. If Butler can find ways to manufacture runs they will be tough to beat.

    i think butler has a great chance to be in Raleigh this year. just take one game at a time.:ylsuper:

    Mid State: Looks like Graham and Orange #1 and #2(no particular order...yet).

    I see the brackets look like road to final four is through E Plains (Again!!). Looks like N Pitt and N Lenoir?? Any info out there?

    Also, who's leading North Carolina Conf and North State?

    In the South Piedmont 3a it is Piedmont at 15-5 and 7-2 and Porter Ridge at 13-6 and 6-4. Anson County may be in there somewhere.

    Current Playoff Situation

    As of Wednesday this is the standings for the NW4A Conference- 2 automatic berths.

    1st-AC Reynolds------8-3---11-7
    2nd-Freedom----------7-4---16-6
    Alexander---------7-4---12-6

    4th-McDowell---------6-5---11-8
    5th-Watauga---------5-7---10-11
    6th-South------------4-7---12-9
    7th-East Burke--------2-9---6-12

    It looks like ACR,Freedom, and Alexander Central will all get bids to the playoffs. 2 will be automatic berths and 1 will be a wild card.

    McDowell and South Caldwell could get a "wildcard" depending on how they finish the final game out and the conference tourney. Watauga isn't out of it but probably has to win atleast 2 games in the tourney if not 3.

    If ACR wins tomorrow and AC and Freedom win then the two tied for 2nd will flip for the 2/3 seeding in the tourney. Whoever advances the farthest in the tourney will get the 2 seed and the other will possibly get a wild card.

    It's going to be interesting!!!

    Central Carolina 2A State Playoff Berths

    #1 Central Davidson (clinched)
    #2 Ledford (unless a lower seeded team wins the conf. tournament)
