19-6 was their final record after the conference tournament.

Is Southeast Guilford 17-5 or 17-6. I see different records posted in different areas. I would think 17-5 would tie you with Catholic.

we are 17-5, the 17-6 record included our loss in the tournament, which we since have found doesn't count. GREAT for us!!!

I don't have the particulars but Madison beat Mtn. Heritage tonight, making them 16-4. Now we can just cross our fingers.

one game can mean it all

Its amazing that one mistake during the season can cost you the wild card slot, just one bad choice and one bad day. I see a team getting in at 14-9. could it be that next year, teams will start playing only teams in preseason that they can beat to up their record? hope not, but i bet it goes that way for some.

its just this year with the light/weak scheduling. gotta play with whats given, NOW the expanded playoffs(next year) we'll get those tournaments(Easter, conference and those outofstate ones) back on the NCHS map and mean something and truely mean something. just sayin........

its Only One year with this format folks.

cheeze & CFBall, you are both dead on with this one. These preseason tourneys and games are a chance for a lot of the younger kids to step up and show that they are ready to step up to varsity and show their stuff. Preseason should have absolutely no bearing whatsoever on the final outcome.
    Conference tourneys are another story.
