    Why can't the softball state title games take place at college parks like the rest of the sports in the state? I find that Walnut Creek is often crowded and are converted for the games. Just look in most dugouts and you will see the players cannot move. I think that moving the games to college parks would give the ladies playing the game the respect they are due.

    If U did that, U would have to have several locations to get the tourney over in a weekend. Maybe the tourney could be in different locations each year. Burlington has some nice parks, Nanhunta, Wilmington, Statesville, Charlotte, Gastonia, etc. just to name a few possible locations. I am sure there are many more areas that could be considered.

    Walnut Creek host some big time College tourneys, AAU, Pony, ASA Showcase events so it is one of your better areas to play.

    i prefer "The Creek", playing there or just watching all those game in one great location!!

    Great place for our state championships. It's our state capital. Just about everyone looks foward to going to Raleigh for a weekend of championship softball.

    perfect place and agree wholeheartly!!

    sports buff.....its all in front of you and not alot of "walking" (beats driving) involved!

    The only thing that would make it even better if it was the home town of the heels instead of that other team thats located there.... :lach:

    keep the Headquarters there but the Games are where they need to be! :satana:
