    what 'cha know, Wolfpack wins game 1, by score of 5-4.
    weather forecast not good for sat. game.

    How does he do it?

    Took Games 1 and 2 from the #5 Heels. Game 3 is today, Wolfpack going for the SWEEEEEEP! BTW -- Weather is beautiful already.. Should be perfect baseball weather at Doak Field today for the Series Sweep.

    PS -- Braves and other Charlotte folks, I was watching on Gamecast last night and thought of you guys. State up 8-7, tieing and go ahead runs on base for the Heels with two outs. NCSU's pitcher was a SO from Myers Park HS... UNC's batter was a FR from Myers Park HS. Kind of cool. Glad the elder got the W.

    oh yes!!!
    Wolfpack sweeps the Heels at the Doak. Sunday's game 3 was in fine fashion, cruising to a 10-2 victory with about 17 hits.

    first sweep for Pack over Heels since 1997.

    oh yeah, almost forgot........Coach Fox was given the heave-ho from the Sat. night game.

    After this weekend, surprised that the Heels were a top 5 team, and now top 10.
