Steve Cagle PassesEdit | ReplySteve Cagle pitching coach from Greer passed away 11/5/07 at his home. His contribution to the young ladies, coaches and friends involved in fastpitch softball is second to none. But most importantly his friendship and caring helped hundreds of young ladies to excell on the field of play and in life also. He helped many achieve their dreams. Steve was not only a excellent pitching coach but a true friend that has meant so much to myself personally as well as all he came in contact with. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Steve was on heck of a nice guy. the girls that played for me absolutely loved him as a pitching coach. when he could, he always came to their games and watched. he never told them they were doing bad, only offered encouragement to them and advice on minor corrections. he was a very good pitching coach and his contributions will be missed in this area for sure.
