    But

    I want to make it very clear that the Bulldogs come to play and they have some very good players. They put the smack down on folks Sunday and won this thing straight up. Very good baseball team. Great kids as well.

    Braves qoute from "Showcaes Concerns": "Yeah, I couldn't believe I read there were 192 teams entered in WWBA this summer. Good grief!!!!!

    The 1st year I attended Jupiter there were 32 teams. I thought that was a lot. The last year I attended I think there were 80+ and I was scratching my head. Of course, 10 of them were PG teams."


    Looks like as long as one provides a field. Who knows?

    After traveling this circuit for a while now I am aware of what you speak. Score alone does not always tell what actually happened. Anyway, just goes to show there is a deep pool of talent out there.

    (Stretchlon Trophy to winning team coach & Telco Credit Union Player of the game Tshirt to the MVP of the championship game)
    Bunn defeats Wilson 8-3
    Power beats Duplin 11-2

    Wilson wins consolation game 14-4 over Duplin

    Power scores 5 runs against Bunn with two outs and no one on in the 7th inning to tie the game 5-5 and wins it in extra innings 7-5. Congrats to Justin and the boys from Greensboro for winning the Championship game

    Greenville Rose has a 9:00 AM game! There are going to be some grumpy teenagers in green Saturday AM...lol! For me, it just gives me an excuse to miss my Sat. AM neighborhood jog and another good reason not to get the yard work done.

    I know several teams and kids are headed down to Fort Meyers this weekend for the world wood bat tourney...
