Stretchy Sighting...

    YES, a confirmed sighting of the Stetchable one....at of all places, Doak Stadium, NCSU Campus!

    I think he was there to do some umpiring kinda stuff, although early on it appeared he was hydrological consultant for the grounds crew.... after cancelling the first game of the day due to moisture, he did don his magic suit and work a lil down first base line for the 2:00 PM game.

    Would it be safe to say Stretchy is the most vertically challenged field umpire in the area, or do all first basemen just make it appear that way? :stirthepot:

    Why do kids insist on making my job so hard?

    I was doing fine making my calls looking thru the first base and/or runners legs UNTIL.......the runner, first baseman, pitcher and second baseman all decided to have a POW WOW at firstbase and bodies were flying everywhere. No clue what I called I was laughing so hard!!!!!!

    Well, ya had a 50/50 shot at getting it right and from where I was sitting, you got it right (even though the call didn't go our way).

    When in doubt, just ask the first baseman....:trampoline:
