    Junior National Team

    The JNT is now 3-0 after beating Canada today 5-1. They play Mexico tomorrow. They expect a standing room only crowd to support the host country....should be around 15,000 fans.

    Team USA

    With a 3-0 win today over Panama, the Junior National Team is now 4-0 at the Pan Am Games in Villahermosa, Mexico. Pitching and defense continue to dominate for the U.S. squad. They've only allowed 3 runs in four games and haven't committed an error in the field.

    By making the final cut for USA Baseball, Thrailkill will also get his first baseball card. Upper Deck has asked each member of the junior national team to autograph 2,000 cards for an upcoming release.

    “That will be pretty unreal to see,” Thrailkill said. “It’s an honor and something I’m just getting a pretty good laugh at right now.”

    WNCBB--I'm counting on you to save me one of those autograph baseball cards :)

    What an unreal experience for Josh...and the best part? His future is just beginning

    What a great experience for Josh. And it sounds like he is keeping his head on straight and not letting it get overly inflated.

    Team USA - Junior Pan Am Championships

    The Junior National Team teams remains unbeaten at 5-0, with a 10-0 victory over Argentina today. Josh Thrailkill (TC Roberson) threw a complete game shutout for Team USA gaining his second win in Mexico. Josh scattered three hits, didn't walk a batter and struck eight in seven innings of work. With the win, Team USA qualified for the medal round which begins on Saturday. The JNT will complete pool play tomorrow with games agianst Brazil and Mexico.

    The Junior National Team (6-0) closed out pool play with a 14-1 win over Brazil and secured the top seed in the medal round. They play Panama (4-3) on Saturday afternoon.

    Junior National Team to Play for the Gold

    Team USA will play Cuba on Sunday for the gold medal in the Pan Am Junior Championships. They beat Panama today 7-1 to advance to the championship game. The JNT (7-0) defeated Cuba in pool play 3-1 earlier in the week.
