usc upstate is a pretty good camp, so is uncc's camp, seen some results from that. belmont abbey puts on a nice camp also, with new coach Kenny at the helm, kid knows a lot about softball. recommend any of the three.

    Hard Work

One camp that I would highly recommend would be the Profiles Camp held at Lynchburg Coll. It is run and over seen by James DeFeo (associate head coach LSU), Va.Tech's head coach Scot Thomas,Ball State Head coach Criag Nicholson, and several others. This is no kiddie camp! These young ladies work extremely hard and play games all day. If your not in softball shape don't bother. They even hold a showcase day where coaches come and watch games. Grades 9-12. My DD has attended the past 2 years and has come back more aggressive and driven each time.

I have a great camp in Weddington at the Wesley Chapel Weddington Athletic Association Parks the last week of June.

I am also having a camp in Alexander County in July. July 16-19. Information on this camp will follow.

In both camps, I test the players in running speed (electronic timer), bat speed and throwing velocity and accuracy. I gather the data and compared the kids to everyone in their age group.

I also video the players and breakdown the swings. At the end of the week, I provide an 8 picture hitting sequence with the pros and the cons of the swing.
