I would like to see the NCHSAA have a tournament, and take the winners of the 1A-2A-3A and 4A championships and play a tournament simular to the format used in the state tournament. Maybe we could call this a Super State Tournament. What are your thoughts? Please reply!

While I was watching the finals that same thought occured to me. It would be great and I am sure the players would love it.

    Super State Playoff

I have seen the state playoffs for a number of years....A playoff among the four winners would be great..I suspect that most years it would be 4-3-2-1 winners ..Oh but those years a lower classification would win would give us old fans something to talk about...Anybody think of any year that a lower classification would win. :applause:

That would be a great idea and they should do it in all sports. If they did it this year in softball, I would not be surprised to see Forbush and North Brunswick in the finals.

the 4 winners this year playing in a super state could be won by anyone of those outstanding teams!

i think the All-Star game pitting east vs west is a more feasible and likely to happen! :D much like the football and basketball in NC already have!

It would add only one more weekend to the schedule and would bring out that All-American spirit of rooting for the underdog. Ain't that what the movie Hoosiers was all about. All-Star games can wait til Summer.

Isley and Allen pitch for the Cardinals as well as Mckenzie ,the Cardinals will be playing in Burlington this weekend ,even though they are hosting the tournament in Rock Hill. They are playing in a ASA National Qualifier , trying to make it to the Nationals. NC ASA state carries no Nationa Berth so this is a chance to qualify early if we can. There is teams from the West Coast that will be there as well as some local NC teams. Good Luck to everyone this weekend at Rock Hill ,because it is a great way to start the summer and get the first games together as a team.
