well written article with the opposing viewpoint of most here but still a valid viewpoint. And as Lblues said....time for this one to die....this one has been beaten to death.

One of amature sports most successful coache, Anson Dorrance of the UNC women's soccer team who has 16 national championships and one world cup to his credit, will not let his team run up the score against an overmatched opponent. His players know that their limit is 9 and the entire team is punished if someone scores over the limit.


It would seem that if this coach was so good, he could figure out a similar system.

 

I believe this another example of media bias. If someone in Florida took the time to call people in Union County, why did he not talk to the person involved. It was clear in the article that the fout coaches had no idea how the game went they where not there either. This type of media coverage, if you could calll it that, smply gives people a bad name.
Mr. Nelson next time you want to do an article about Central Fastpitch, talk to them not Union County.

I'd rather get my brains beat in 110-0 than for some team to show pity by striking out on purpose or batting opposite handed. Life is not always fair or forgiving.
