SW4A Conference tourny?

I am just a fan of baseball everywhere. Can anyone give me the information about the SW4A conference tounament. When it starts? Where it is being held at? Maybe even what the potential matchups are and when they are going to be played? just looking for some good ball to watch.

 

I'll tell you what. Share with me some info on the NW4A tourney? Your thoughts on 3rd place finisher?...and I'll give you some insight on who I think will be SW4A 3rd place finisher and their strengths and weaknesses

SW4A Conference Tournament – 5/9 or 5/10 thru 5/14
1st Round of the SW4A Conference Tournament Play on 5/9 or 5/10 (start date not decided as yet):
# 4 Seed vs. #5 Seed @ South @ 6:00pm
# 1 Seed (South Meck) vs. #8 Seed @ South @ 8:00pm
#3 Seed vs. # 6 Seed @ Providence @ 6:00pm
#2 Seed vs. # 7 Seed @ Providence @ 8:00pm
2nd & 3rd Rounds of the SW4A Conference Tournament Play will be held @ Providence.

Seeds 2-7 in the SW4A have not been decided as yet.

thanks guys for the info. AC will finish first and Watuaga second. McDowell is my pick for third and they will get the third playoff spot because either AC or Watuaga is going to win the tournament. the tournament starts monday everyone plays except AC who wont play until tuesday against the 4-5 winner. all games are going to be played at Watuaga high school. when i get the times of the games i will post them.

 

Thanks, we will post the SW4A conference tournament final locations, dates, and times as well when notified and 2nd and 3rd seed is locked down in the SW4A.

Actually I think the first round games are played at the home of the higher seed, then the final 4 and finals are at WHS.

1 -- Alexander Central
2 -- Watauga
3 -- McDowell
4 -- South Caldwell
5 -- East Burke
6 -- A. C. Reynolds
7 -- Freedom

It's 7 at 2, 6 at 3, 5 at 4 in the first round with 1 getting a bye.

Those standings are extremely unofficial, but AC has one locked up and WHS has No. 2. I think 3-7 are still pending, but McDowell has the inside track for 3rd.

If I'm not mistaken, all three teams split their games against each other...so the teams that go farthest in the conf. tourney will decide the seedings. Of course, Butler may sweep the tourney and two of those team are out.

 

Anybody know what the third tie-breaker is? If the teams split head-to-head and get knocked out of the tourney in the same round, what next?
