    I vote for the top 3 that you noted:
    * Myers Park off to 6-0, 2-0 with wins over Hopewell and Weddington
    * South Meck starts 5-0, 2-0 – has out scored opponents 52-14
    * Butler 2-0 in league (5-1) with road league wins at AK and Providence in two nail bitters

    I always prefer team accomplishments over individual highlights.

    Also, who predicted MP, SM and Butler were going to jump out of the gate like this??

    The SW4A will have plenty of twists and turns this year due to the amount of talent throughout the league. This is just the beginning....

    No truer words are spoken....and with Weddington playing up to their abilities, it's going to be an amazing year. Right now, I would place Myers Park at the top, But the differences between teams are so small that it would be difficult to predict the final standings. One key player's injury could make the difference.

    Kep an eye on Chris Overman. This is going to be his year to shine. Great family too.

    South Meck going 5-0 to start the season. Who would have thought after all the "BS" the program went through last year.

    Ryan Butler pitching for AK and winning his first two games of the year. Remember folks, this kid is a sophomore.

    Tyler Tewell turning himself into a pitcher and doing a great job. That's all we (SW4A) need, Tewell pitching well to go along with his bat. Damn you Nick!

    Spectator2, you're right on the money with all of your comments. But I've got to give Shaffer his props, 16 strikeouts against one of the best hitting lineups in the SW4A. That's impressive!
