You need to vote for them as their pitching certainly gives them as good a chance as anybody.

Coach Cousar likes flying under the radar. He gets upset if you rank him a favorite.

Most were also position players and not just filling a hole, but also a top stick in the league.

Ratledge was POY as a junior and injured his arm throwing in the first scrimmage of the year as a senior and for the most part was a DH the remainder of the season.

Besselievre was primarily just a pitcher.

Butler's pitching does not concern me as much as their hitting. I'm not saying that they don't have quality bats, I just don't know the guys coming up from JV well enough to make an informed decision.

My sensitivity increases as my hair gets grayer & grayer! It's affecting the brain, ........... what I have left! After all, I grew up in the sixties and seventies! Woodstock & All!
Actually I have had the pleasure of watching Deuce develop every spring for the last 3 years. This kid may not be as well known as Holberton, but in my book, he deserves too be!

Funny you mentioned Woodstock...what a great segue! Woodstock is coming again real soon!!!!!!!!!!!

Deuce Wright has been on my radar for a long time. I think the young man is terrific. I'm not going to enter who's better--they're both tremendously gifted.

    The list

Philly Dave, I am not a East Meck homer at all. If anything they should probably be ranked higher, losing only one starter. AK is at the top, because of returning starters key addtions and depth. MP, beat AK twice last year, and their Junior class is very good, Holberton behind the plate gives them a chance in every game. Providence getting Fincher is huge, he is a good player, and they had a need in the middle infield, they will pitch play def, can they hit enought? East Meck could win the conference, can they hit?, does the coaching change effect them at all? Do they have any depth in case of injury?Butler has a lot of depth pitching, can they fill the holes. South has pitching, and pitching depth, but a lot of position questions, not saying they can't all be answered, but other than behind the plate, and a outfielder or two, there are a lot of positions battles to be had. They also have a new coach, that is really good. Indy may have improved more than any team, from the beginning of the year to the end. it is a team heading in the right direction, they just happen to be in a conference that is loaded top to bottom.

That's my two cents, and in this economy we all know how much that is worth.
