We do not allow HS players to be called out. If you have something negative to say about a kid, keep it to yourself.

Do not think you should mention that in this forum. Also forgot about Hibbard and Rollings(think that is right), they pitched well in spots so Butler pitching will be deep.
As far as Wilkerson I do not think you could be more wrong. I am retired and I love baseball and live near the school so I watched JV and Varsity 9 or 10 times including a couple away games and playoffs. Wilkerson is a player, I did not see the kid strike out more than 2 or 3 times in all those games and he always made contact. I think he had multiple hits in almost every game. He did well on Varsity in playoffs at plate during playoffs. I saw several errors in field but majority were not made by him. Hodges plays pretty good defense but I did observe him strike out frequently. Just my two cents.

I think what was implied in the post was that the "loss" of Wilkerson would hurt - meaning Wilkerson was a good player. At least..that's what I got out of it.

I'd like to throw my two cents in about Providence. And yes you can call me a homer! - INFIELD: Let's start with the addition of Fincher, nothing really needs to be said about him, we all know he's a great addition. Then you have Austin who is going to move back behind the plate where he belongs and Ben Brown at 2nd who patiently waited his turn, I think everyone will be surprised by him. Now here's where it's going to get interesting, two sophomores at the corners, Jackson Campana (6'6") at 1st and Michael Herbert (6'4") at 3rd, both hit for power and average and by the way, they both pitch and both throw in the upper 80's. That leads me to the pitching, depth is not the issue here, Kessler, McClintock and Semeniuk lead the group but let's not forget about the rest of the staff or even the previously mentioned sophomores. Hignight's only problem will be giving these guy's enough quality inning to pitch. Let's not forget about Michael Dunn here, talk about the consummate team player - All this kid does is produce and support the rest of his team. I think it's again going to be between Providence and AK. There - that was the homer in me!

I'd have to go with Ardrey Kell, even with who they lost I believe they return the most talent
