Thanks for the scores swingaway. It's hard to keep up with you guys here in McDowell since the Charlotte Observer put us on their "do not call list".

I will keep posting about SW4A. There are several solid teams in the conference but I do not think any are state championship contenders. Unfortunatley, the team to beat from Meck County is West Charlotte.

I have seen them play multiple times and they are for real. They are athletic, disciplined and talented. In the past, they could beat teams on their athletic ability - this year they have the entire package.

They have two forwards that are very fast, a point guard that is a shooter and a good floor leader, along with a center that would be a star on any other team. Also, they appear to be well coached. Their two forwards are unbelievable in the transition game and very solid rebounders.

Personally, I think they are the team to beat in the West, although I am sure McDowell will have something to say about that. That will be a game worth watching.

 

Thanks a bunch swingaway. I don't know how far the lady titans may go in the playoffs but I'm sure they will see some of these teams. Your posts will help us know what to expect down the road.

 

I haven't seen West Charlotte play but from all I hear from people like you and others they are for real. I believe McDowell will be their only test in the west because you can't beat a team like that with a 1 man show. Every McDowell player would have to play their best and score their average for the titans to have a shot at them.
