    I went yesterday to Morganton to the Catawba Meadows sports complex to watch some great softball being played. Amanda was site director for the NSA and the fields, restrooms, snack bar, etc. were the best I've ever seen!

    Morganton is a great place we have needed something like this for a long time in the west BEST PLACE IN NC by far.Teams from Asheville to Wanye County played this weekend.

    Yes, this is one of the best parks ever and more to come. Amanda (Western NC NSA Director) has more tournaments scheduled at this park for the 2007 season.
    As far as pictures go to the thread listed Saturday @ Meadows and you can see some of the park.

    Great place for A showcase tourney to pull college coaches from Tenn and Virginia, and NW Ga. Let's do it!

    Great place for ball

    NSA did a great job this weekend, thanks Amanda and crew, I meet a guy from Morganton parks + rec while I was looking at the NEW empty 5-plex boys baseball fields , and he asked me if they could be used for fastpitch? I said take out those pitching mounds and shorten those fences from 220 to 200 and HELL-YA....... 9-plex .. yeah BABY some NATIONALS !!!!! He liked my idea, he liked the TB crowd that came this weekend/ we are all ball .
