    right to the point as usual. speaking of one of those 82-83 lefties. we got one and he is not getting the looks he deserves. he is 12-1 on the 4A level.:229031_ha :229031_ha

    I'm pretty sure who he is, Coach. Let's see if we can do something about it.

    If you are too busy, have someone post his name, team and fall schedule on here. We can at least get more scouts to check him out.

    Broke The Mold!!!!!!!!!

    Coach 27 I'm sorry to report that you won't find anymore parents like PRD, they broke the mold on that one. He's been my running mate the past eight or nine years during baseball season (spring, summer and fall) and I can tell you from experience he is one of a kind. I'm really going to miss being around him as much this coming baseball season. He and PRMOM and the whole family are very special. Don't be surprised if you see a royal blue & white hat mixed in with that burgundy & black hatted crowd form time to time. Also good luck to you and the boys at SGH this coming season. You've got some great kids and you and the rest of the coaching staff are a class act. You are at the top of my list in that category for the teams we played against over the last four years of high school ball. You do things the right way with integrity and humility and my monies on SGH to be in the state 3-A Title game next year.

    FYI-

    this weekend is practice, practice, practice.....
    a few recruits will be showing up during practice Saturday.
    Intrasquads will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Monday, tuesday will be mostly pups on the mound. Thursday will be older pitchers.
    Saturday and Sunday will be 28 innings against Western NC travel team.

    Just not going to be the same

    BigByrd thank you for the kind words. I feel the same way about you guys. I can tell you it is not going to be the same this season when we face the Rockets. I will miss not seeing Robbie and JRod out there. Well I will miss seeing them before and after the game but I sure wont miss seeing them on the line up card! Good Luck to both of them this year in College. I hope that you and PRD will come out and see us play at your place this year I always look forward to seeing you guys.

    i might wait unless you just have to have some ball. the next four weekends will be against outside competition after this weekend.

    Well, yeah...I do need some ball. You know me, I just like to watch the players work...but I'm coming up there anyway because of that other sport...what's it called?...oh yeah...football

    Need a fix to!!!

    Me to Braves!! I need a baseball fix!!! First time in 12 years I think that I haven't been involved in fall baseball someway and I am feeling lost!!:thud:
    At least my daughter is making up for it with volleyball. Another one of those "other sports"!!!:ylsuper:
