    Tell the readers how you came up with your TBR name or why you picked the TBR name you use. This should be interesting to find out how our TBR's AKA names originated..


    People that know me say I don't have a home life, and see me constantly at the ballpark even when my DD doesn't play in a tournament, 030Storm said that I reminded him of a GURU, because this is the only life that I seem to possess. Others began to fall in suit as the "Softball Guru" became my TBR name,and field name.Even some of my buddies call my DD "Little Guru". Other than getting in trouble once in awhile it has been fun around the Carolina's being known as the "Softball Guru". I have made tons of friends,and sure some enemies over the course of my TBR years,but in the end it has been a pleasure sitting with my buddies ,and cutting up with the kids / parents,and talking about the greatest sport of them all "SOFTBALL".

    Mine has to do with how I earn all that legal tender that I give and give and give and give to the DD's. :hurray:

    Yankeefan must have been taken....

    ....well not exactly, yes I love the Yanks, but Marlinfan is from my interest in fishing. Its nice to have friends with big boats and gas money.

    Hello my name is sammie and i'm a TBR addict

    Umm guess mine is kinda obvious. Kids go to Parkland High School in Winston-Salem. heard about TBR from someone i don't remember, the year my oldest DD was entering high school and that this was the best prep forum in the land. like to keep up with goings on around us(NO NO not obsessed) and keeping up with the kids we knew from ball. Now that has blossomed into great friendships. Nothing no better than to be at a ballfield with Guru, or Ledfordguy, or jfagala and seeing the look on someones face when they find out what our TBR handles are. the scope and coverage of this board is awesome and it will surprise some of you to find out how many people look but don't participate. Again great friends all around (cheeze, abbeyfan, cometfan, storm030, marlinfan and others) make this site more than worthwhile. thanks LarryD and others for the greatest site on the web.:1luvu:

    Well let's see I coach the Dirt Dobbers and some of the girls started calling me Daddy so next thing I know it turns into Daddydobber afew of them send me Fathers day cards about every year also :60: :60: :60:

    Blame my addiction on Marlinfan

    You can blame my time on TBR to Marlinfan. He told me about the forum, and now I'm hooked......:devil:
    Anyway, my name is simple. It's my DD's High School, Leesville Rd "Pride", and her number 08.
