    Not sure

how it came about but my DD got the nickname of Duckgirl from one of her teams even though she doesn't have Duck anywhere in her name. Then somewhere along the line, one of the team coaches started calling me Mama Duck. Guess it fits, I am the Mama and my last name is Duck.

my daughters play FP and my son plays baseball so nothing terribly cryptic. However, over the years we have actually gone in 3 different directions over a weekend when my daughters were playing for different teams and my son was playing travel baseball... now thats a hard one to figure out! :)

I was a starting outfielder and the second string catcher. Never good enough to be a first string catcher, so my wife and I had three children which at one time were....you guessed it, catchers. My oldest is currently catching for one of the strong 18U teams, my middle child, a son, was afraid of the ball so he went to play a safer?, sport...he plays Lacrosse and Ice Hockey. My youngest, also a son was a catcher until an eye injury put him out for the season. Thank you Duke Eye Center, He's back and ready for fall baseball. So I guess, we as parents get to re-live our youth with our children in the sports we play.
PS I sucked at Ice Hockey too!
