    hey, it was great tbr showing yesterday, and for those of you who doubt the existance of braves, put a lid on it, cause he showed up with his 6'7" son tj who is one hell of a nice kid (transfer from lr to wingate and a damn fine pitcher i hear)

    saw a butt load of tbr'ers, some great softball games - carolina cardinals black is showing up some pretty good 18u teams, dem 13,14 and 15 yr old girls can play sum ball, speedy vixens they are.

    sat with many college coaches i have befriended throughout the years, abbey, wingate, app, usc upstate and more, but i counted about 19 schools there on saturday. excellent showing for college coaches and a great tournament to boot. weather was good, introduced braves to some great softbal games, and he ended up spending most of the day with guru - enough said there.

    but, i have some tee shirts left from some people not being there, and i need to get them out the door before my wife comes down on me, med, large, xl, xxl and one xxxl, $8.00 each if ya pick them up, $11.00 sent to your door. help a brother out will ya....

    changeup2 actually has some greeting picture of guru and braves, brace your selves, not saying it was ugly, but it werent pretty either. possibly could be the october pin up picture for the men of tbr calender......

    Ummm......blackmail is not acceptable on TBR.

    I had a great time yesterday meeting a bunch of softball folks. The weather was perfect, the games I saw were competitive and the atmosphere is one I enjoy.

    Believe me, it was a pleasure meeting everyone and I hope I get a chance to do it again real soon.

    Special note to changeup....If you have any pictures of me and Guru, I will deny it was me :indian_brave:

    Was great meeting the few that I did. I can verify that Braves does indeed exist, not that I would know if there was someone else there calling themselves Braves... I will have to take his word for it. :4:

    Wish I could have hung out with ya'll longer...

    Yes I met Braves and Guru ...

    And MAN. A TBR hat --- YES !!!!! And Mrs. Change-up2 got a the TBR T-Shirt !!!!! I got to met and mingle with the TBR board folks , The Cardinals were GREAT hosts , and it was a awesome showcase of fastpitch.

    yeah man, had a great time meeting everyone, including the elusive braves and son tj. great people we have on this board and hopefully encouraged a few new members.

    Hahaha...I can't believe changeup posted that. What can I say.....Guru and I are campaigning for the TBR calendar pics.

    I gotta tell ya. It was the first time I met cheeze and I felt like I knew him forever. Again, it was my pleasure meeting all the people that I did. The softball community is a very special group...and now I feel I'm a part of it.

    There is still a lot of people that I have not met yet, but I'm looking forward to meeting them in the near future.

    I met some members that said they are lurkers, but do not post. It's time to change that. Everybody has something useful to say, so how about sharing that information with us.

    i agree with braves, many women will not post and yet their side of every discussion should be offered with the rest. especially the women coaches we have in our area (Carol, yeap, we're pickin on you)....so please join in our discussions.

    braves is a pretty brave guy to get that close to guru./......jk

    WE do too have a Wal mart!!!!! A super Wal mart at that & McDonalds!!!!! What more could you want:smiley_snopes_check

    It was really nice

    It was really nice to finally be able to put a TBR name with a face this weekend.... I personally had an awesome time at this tournament and met MANY delightful people at Rock Hill..... We are looking forward to meeting ALOT more TBR members at the next TBR gathering ...See ya there....
