    The biggest thing to keeping your composure on the mound is without a doubt confidence. You have to toe the rubber with the mentality that no one on the other team is good enough to hit you if you do what your capable of and have been doing your whole life. If someone gets a hit/home run off you, you have to have a short term memory and get your confidence right back. Just go after the next guy, and want the guy who dropped the bomb on you to come up to the plate again so you can prove to yourself and everyone that it was a fluke and your better then that one mistake pitch.

    Smile. Even if you turn around to your centerfielder to curse after a mistake, finish with a smile ... it is amazing how much it cleanses and helps reset / slow down the moment .

    Since my buddy, Applejack. hasn't been around for awhile and this thread is not new, AJ was a pitcher for the Detroit Tigers and Pittsburgh Pirates

    and UpandIn is Robert Woodard when he was a freshman at UNC
